Dubai Gallery Season Heats Up Indoors as Summer Exhibitions Draw Collectors

Opera Gallery Dubai anchors its summer offering with Summer Vibes, a survey built on a deliberate pairing of twentieth-century canonical figures and contemporary market names. Picasso, Chagall and Botero share wall space with Yayoi Kusama, KAWS, Shepard Fairey, Julian Opie and Manolo Valdés. The curatorial logic treats artistic evolution as continuous conversation rather than a clean break between eras. Two works carry particular weight within the show: Kusama’s Infinity Nets series and KAWS’ monumental Companion (Grey Colorway). Tangerine Dreams uses orange as the conceptual frame, examining its associations with heat, sunlight, energy, abundance and memory.
