Two Dubai Real Estate Veterans Launch BRDG House

A new firm aims to shape value before ground breaks

Wissam Breidy and Paula Gambrell have spent more than two decades each inside Dubai’s real estate industry. Now the two veterans are betting their combined experience can change how developers approach their work altogether.

Their new firm, BRDG House, is a strategic development company based in Dubai. It draws on long careers in real estate development, brand leadership and commercial growth, and the pair say their track record, development, positioning, commercialization and sales activity exceeding AED30 billion, or $8.2 billion, across markets, is what underpins the venture.

Breidy arrives with experience spanning media, strategic leadership, brand development and real estate management. He previously served as chief executive of HRE Development, where he guided the company’s market positioning, developer brand and commercial presence. That work earned him the title of CEO of the Year at the 2025 Entrepreneur Leadership Awards.

Gambrell, meanwhile, brings over 20 years across international real estate, finance, development, product strategy and commercial leadership. Her career includes executive leadership roles with Damac Properties, Ellington Properties and Dar Global. In 2014, she played a part in expanding Dubai real estate’s reach into China, and she has since worked on branded residences and landmark developments across multiple markets.

The philosophy behind BRDG House is summed up in its guiding statement: “We Build Value Before We Build Projects.” In practice, the firm works alongside developers, investors, funds and landowners to identify opportunities, shape stronger propositions and execute strategies across the development lifecycle.

For Breidy, the difference lies in getting involved early and staying involved. “Successful developments begin long before construction or sales. They begin with the right strategy, product and market proposition,” he said. “At BRDG House, we do not advise from the outside. We integrate with the developer’s team to shape the strategy and execute it across the organization. Our objective is not simply to market one project, but to build value into the development while strengthening the developer brand behind it.”

The company organizes its work through four interconnected pillars: Development Strategy, Brand & Trust, Sales & Commercial Growth, and Development Management. Together, these cover the full journey, from opportunity assessment, product strategy and positioning through to market activation, sales execution and project delivery.

Gambrell frames the firm’s approach around the connections between decisions that are often treated separately. “Successful development requires alignment between market intelligence, product, positioning and commercial execution. Product affects pricing, pricing affects positioning, and positioning affects demand,” she said. “As a Strategic Development Partner, we connect these decisions and work alongside the developer’s teams to carry the strategy through execution. Strategy creates value only when the organization can execute it.”

That execution focus is central to how BRDG House positions itself. Rather than operating as a traditional consultancy, the firm embeds its team with the developer’s leadership and functional teams, working to align market intelligence, product strategy, positioning, brand, commercialization and execution around a single shared strategic direction.

The ambition, according to the company, stretches beyond any single project. BRDG House also aims to strengthen the developer behind the project, building the capabilities, reputation and trust that can carry from one development to the next. For two industry figures who have spent their careers inside major Dubai and international developers, the venture represents a wager that a project’s value is decided long before the first sale is made. Whether Dubai’s developers embrace that wager may determine how far the new firm’s model travels.
